Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session with MHP, not only am I documenting their beautiful moments as parents-to-be, but I am documenting the last time their child will be the youngest in the family. For Maribel and Husam, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into becoming a family of four.
Family Style Heirloom Maternity Session – Waterbury CT Maternity Photographer
Searching on google for CT Maternity Photographers beautiful mama Maribel came across my website and booked me as their maternity photographer to capture her pregnancy with her second baby. Mom traveled from Waterbury Connecticut with her husband Husam and their five year old daughter Samya for their family maternity session in studio.
Studio Maternity Photos – CT Maternity Photography
Maribel’s studio maternity session was captured in a couture stylized fashion with the maternity gowns she wore, and with a whole lot of love for the baby boy that she was going to be meeting in the weeks ahead. Mom looked absolutely stunning in the dark teal couture mermaid dress that she wore. My mouth dropped open when I captured that image of her.
Samya was so well-behaved and so well-mannered in the studio for their maternity session that I almost couldn’t believe she was only five years old. I love capturing baby’s siblings and the love they have for their mother – and Samya showed her love for her mama perfectly.
When I was photographing this soon-to-be family of four, I could tell just how excited they were to be welcoming another bundle of joy into their hearts simply by the way they looked at each other. One of the reasons why I specialize in capturing the beautiful essence of maternity photography is to document our human nature of unspoken love. It’s a kind of love that if you give pause long enough to look you will find it with ease; between two spouses who are excited to become parents, a mother and her first born child, the un-posed moments of a growing family photo and a mother’s love for her unborn baby.
