For the newcomers to my blog, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and a mother to five children and I found my passion and niche with photography and working with newborns. I specialize in newborn photography throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and I have a beautiful photography studio that is located in Coventry, CT.  As a professional photographer, I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish of their new baby and family forever. Emma Newborn & Sitter Milestone Photos – East Lyme CT Baby Photography

Kristin and William got in touch with me when they were growing their family of five with their three adorable triplet boys into their family of six and welcoming a baby girl into their family. Having photographed their triplets’ newborn and sitter milestone photos with the Cherished Newborn Session when they were newborns and their milestone photos with the All-Inclusive Milestone Session, Kristin and William booked the same for their baby girl. Emma was a perfect baby for her session, she slept nearly the whole time and I was able to pose her in so many adorable newborn photography poses that mom and dad just adored.

As with all of my clients, I love connecting with and getting to know them during out time together and when they come back for future sessions, we’ve already become like friends.  Kristin shared with me a little about them in the many sessions we’ve had together. They love to go camping as a family and enjoy the outdoors. We spend time at parks where the boys love checking out different playgrounds as well as playing with their cousins. Liam likes to break out into dance, he is the sweetest goofball, Nate loves trains and loves babies, he always goes up to every baby he sees; Lucas loves to read books and flip through magazines. They all love watching Sesame Street. They are the sweetest family!

Baby Girl Newborn Photos Rose and Cream Colors – Baby Photography East Lyme CT

Kristin had a vision in mind for her daughter’s newborn photos and wanted rose and cream colors paired together for her daughter’s newborn setups. Emma looked so darling in all the pink colors and tones that I used for her baby pictures and I absolutely adore how sweet she looks posed and sleeping peacefully. She is a beauty baby girl and she is surrounded by love from her older brothers and her mama and dad.

Sitting Up Baby Milestone Photos – CT First Year Baby Photographer

When Emma came back to the studio for her sitting up milestone session, I could see just how much she had grown and how much personality she had in the months since doing her newborn photos. She is a sweetheart and goes with the flow. She is such a happy little girl, so smiley and full of laughs.

As a baby and first year milestone photographer located in Connecticut, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session.
