Dominic Cherished Newborn Pics – Columbia CT Newborn Photography

Victoria and Joseph were soon to be welcoming their baby boy and wanted to reserve his due date on my calendar to ensure they were able to get newborn pictures of him. First booking the Heirloom Maternity Session with me to capture mamas’ pregnancy with their baby boy, they booked the Cherished Newborn Session in advance of their baby’s due date ensure that I was able to welcome them into the MHP Studio and capture baby Dominic’s precious newborn images. Being so fresh into the world, Dominic was so sleepy but as perfect as can be for his newborn photoshoot. He was so good while was I posing him, and sneaking in sweet baby snuggles every now and then, and he preciously moved into every single newborn photography pose that I captured of him. He was simple a dream baby for his newborn pictures and I adored capturing these moments for his mama and dad.

I always love when parents chat and we get to know each other before, during our session time and long after as I capture more memories for my clients throughout baby’s first year, to family sessions and onto expecting another baby and capturing another newborn session. Mom shared with me that they love to travel and they have travelled to many countries around the world, visiting a few countries on more than one trip. Joe is easy going and likes to joke around while mom is a little more on the serious side, but they compliment each other well. They like to watch different things on TV or streaming services from nonfiction documentaries to scary movies to The Office and Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Baby Boy Newborn Photos Dark Navy and Cream – Newborn Photography CT

Mom and dad chose a simple color palate of dark navy-blue colors paired with cream for their baby boy’s newborn session colors. I adore this color combination because of its simplicity and the softness paired together. Baby Dominic looked absolutely handsome in all the adorable poses and props that I used to set up and design his newborn photoshoot with. My favorite, apart from him snuggled in mom and dad’s arms, is of him holding the teddy or him posed on his tummy sounds asleep on the bed. Which is your favorite?

The Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a boutique newborn photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photoshoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom newborn photography session with MHP.
