Declan Thomas is the strong masculine name that Laura and Peter gave the name of their first baby – a precious, handsome baby boy. Laura and Peter looked for a CT Hospital Baby Photographer to document them meeting their new baby boy those first hours after he was born. They wanted to capture the raw, happy, excited love-filled moments of them as new parents cuddling and getting to know their new baby. Meeting Baby Declan Thomas at Yale New Haven Hospital

In those first hours after Declan’s birth, I came to the Yale North Haven Hospital and met new parents Laura and Peter in their hospital room for Declan’s Fresh48 Hospital Session. I always love meeting new parents in their hospital room after their baby has been born and welcomed into his new family. All the tender love and emotion still fills the room and it’s so beautiful and touching to capture. Getting to know Laura and Peter, I learned that Peter is a fire fighter, and that they are Red Sox and Boston Bruin fans. They enjoy being home with their two boxers and spending quality time with family and friends.
