CT Baby Photography – Ethan Camping Theme Cake Smash

As a Connecticut Baby Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up through to their first birthday. As quick as the newborn stage passes so do all the different stages of the baby milestones, and it’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either. Here is a peek into Ethan’s milestone session in the studio.

CT Baby Photography – Ethan Camping Theme Cake Smash

Amanda and Jordan are beloved clients of Melissa Hartigan Photography. Having photographed countess memories for them with their first baby Eli and doing milestone sessions throughout his first year, spring and Christmas mini sessions, family sessions, to them welcoming baby Ethan and capturing his newborn session and all of his milestones to his one year cake smash session. They are just the sweetest family! I’m so lucky to have such beloved clients coming to me to capture all their special moments and memories.

Baby Ethan is so smiley. He absolutely loves and adores his big brother Eli, they have the best brother sibling bond. Ethan loves music and can be found bobbing to it and singing. As a family they love camping and spending time together outdoors. Because they love camping so much, for Ethan’s cake smash setup we did a camping theme. Ethan loved digging in!

As a Connecticut Baby Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those precious baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up through to their first birthday. As quick as the newborn stage passes so do all the different stages of the baby milestones that first year, and it’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.

When it comes to studio outfits and setups, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby and child prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session.

This past week alone, I received 26+ inquiries from families whose babies have already arrived—new moms and dads, aunts and grandmas looking to capture those precious first days.

As much as I hate saying no, I’ve had to refer so many families out because I simply didn’t have availability.

When I say I book many months in advance, I truly mean it. It’s not just something I say to create buzz.

I photographed 18 newborns in September alone, and October & November are filling quickly. October, November & December each have only 1–2 openings remaining.

So when I say secure your due date, I really mean it. 🤍

I completely understand wanting to shop around, but when choosing your newborn photographer, look beyond price and how many images you receive. Ask about experience, training, newborn safety, and how they handle and pose brand-new babies.

I’ve had the honor of photographing well over 1,000 newborns, and their safety will always be my #1 priority.

I truly love what I do and feel incredibly blessed every time a family trusts me with their newest little love. 🤍
