Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, which is what I specialize in, but I also love photographing little ones of all ages within their first year, and beyond. Here is a peek into Aliya’s One-Year Milestone session.

Colchester CT Baby Photography – Aliya One Year Milestone

Darling little Aliya came back to my studio for her One Year Cake Smash Session with the All-Inclusive Milestone Session that her mom booked to celebrate her celebratory first year milestone. Capturing Aliya’s newborn photos along with her six-month sitter milestone session, it was such a treat to see her again to capture this very sweet and very special moment for her mom and dad. She is just the happiest baby ever, and I saw her happiness in all her sweet smiles and facial expressions that I captured.

Aliya loves anything sparkly, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and her favorite thing to do is to look at everything and everyone while they’re out at the mall. She’s a very friendly, happy baby. I love capturing baby milestone sessions after newborn sessions, because not only do I get to capture more precious baby memories for parents but I also get to see just how much my littlest clients have grown in the time since capturing their newborn pictures. It always amazes me seeing the sweet little babies I posed and photographed throughout their first year and capturing these moments.

As a Connecticut Baby Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those precious baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up through to their first birthday. As quick as the newborn stage passes so do all the different stages of the baby milestones that first year, and it’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.

When it comes to studio outfits and setups, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby and child prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session.
