Beautiful Charlotte Ray – CT Newborn Photography

Elizabeth and Matthew welcomed their beautiful baby girl Charlotte into their family late last year, and it was an absolute pleasure to continue photographing another new addition to their family. I met Elizabeth 4 years ago when I photographed her nephew’s One Year Cake Smash, and I was super thrilled to hear from her to photograph her baby’s newborn photos. When they booked their baby’s newborn session with me, they didn’t know they were going to be having a girl. In fact, they were keeping the baby’s gender a surprise for the birth – which is always so exciting! At Charlotte’s newborn session, I got to know Elizabeth and Matthew a little more and found out that they are Boston Red Sons and Boston Bruins fans, and are very into sports. I always love getting to know my clients at their session and feel so honoured to know them when they come back for their baby’s milestone sessions throughout the year.

Sweet in Slumber – Newborn Photography in CT

Charlotte Ray was the perfect newborn baby model for her first professional photo session. She didn’t make a peep the entire time and was in sweet slumber throughout her session. I was able to capture so many adorable photos of her that I truly don’t think I could pick my favorite. Not only was she in dreamland at the studio, but she brought a head full of absolutely amazing newborn baby hair to show off. With hair like hers, I couldn’t cover it up too much so I decided to show off her luscious baby locks and accentuate it with newborn photography headbands. I might be in baby hair heaven – if such a place even exists.

Baby girl newborn photos Purple and Gray – CT Newborn Photographers

I love all the girly colors mixed with soft neutrals. It really is the perfect balance between feminine and classic. Elizabeth chose purple and gray colors for her baby girl’s newborn session. She looked absolutely darling in all the purple and gray colors and tones that mom wanted for her newborn photos. My absolute favorite photo of baby Charlotte was her giving me sweetest of smiles while she snuggled the purple heart.
