Cameron’s Rocking Chair – Newborn Photography Coventry CT

Shawn and Sydney were so excited to be welcoming their first baby they not only booked their maternity session to celebrate growing their family, but also the Cherished Newborn Session to capture handsome little Cameron’s newborn photos. I always encourage parents to book their sessions prior to their baby’s due date since I tend to book up several months in advance; and by booking both your maternity session and your newborn session at the same time, it guarantees a spot on my calendar for when your precious baby bundle arrives earth side.

A little about Sydney and Shawn and their growing family. Sydney is a preschool teacher so her life revolves around little humans. She loves everything that reminds her of being a kid, especially Disney, and was dreaming about being a mom since she was a little girl. Shawn works in the mortgage industry and is a total people person. He loves what he does and loves that he gets to work with people daily. He loves being with kids and is a God-Father to three very special children. As a family, they love being together. A majority of their time is spent together doing random things. They love to travel or adventure locally and find new places to visit and experience. They both love to spend time with their family and closest friends, and all of their friends are considered honorary Aunts and Uncles; that’s how much they love them. They have two dogs who can’t wait to be big-fur siblings and love to drive them crazy with their insane energy and need to always give kisses They are the perfect little family of three plus two fur babies.

Baby Boy Sage Green and Cream Newborn Pics – Coventry CT Newborn Photography

Mom requested sage green and cream colors together for Cameron’s newborn session set ups. Those two colors are just so perfect and suit Cameron. He is just so handsome. Mom and Dad brought a special rocking chair that was gifted to them from Shawn’s grandfather. He had made something special for each of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren for when they were born that he put a lot of thought, care, time and love into handcrafting. When he passed away in 2019, Shawn and Sydney didn’t think that they would’ve received anything from him, but they were pleasantly surprised at their baby shower when they were gifted with the very last thing he worked on – a wooden rocking chair that he made special for Cameron. We incorporated the rocking chair into the session for some special and meaningful captures of Cameron in his special Grampy rocking chair. And, Cameron even gave us a smile when he was posed on the rocking chair. We think that was a special nod from Grampy.
