As a Maternity Photographer in Connecticut, documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. Laurie and Timothy are one of the many, and sweetest couples that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting since I’ve specialized in documenting maternity photography. As a sweet, kind gesture from Laura’s mom, they were gifted the Timeless Maternity Session to capture their pregnancy moments while they awaited the arrival of their baby-to-be. The day of their session was one of the coldest days that we had had in a while, but we pushed through the freezing cold and we captured beautifully, timeless pregnancy pictures for them. The light wind and pretty light that added for such a nice touch to the photos.
Beautiful Maternity Gowns & Dresses
Laurie wore two maternity dresses that she purchased off Amazon.com and brought to the session with her. She looked stunning in the two dresses she wore. They were so pretty! Maternity clients are always welcome to borrow dresses from the studio wardrobe during their maternity sessions whether captured in studio or outside. The studio wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful maternity gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Maternity Portrait Session Pre-Photo Pampering
As a professional portrait photographer that specializes in capturing the beautiful pregnant form, I always suggest a day of pampering for my mom’s-to-be before their maternity session. From manicures and pedicures, to a day at the salon with a hair stylist and makeup artist, it can really bring out the very essence of how an expectant mother-to-be feels about herself. When a mama feels her absolute best, it shines through during the maternity session and into the finished maternity portrait.
