Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, which is what I specialize in, but I also love photographing little ones of all ages within their first year, and beyond. Here is a peek into Avery’s One Year Mini Milestone session.

Avery One Year Milestone – East Lyme Baby Photography

Darling little Avery came back to my studio with her mama Lauren for her One Year Session.  Mom and Dad booked the All-Inclusive Mini Milestone Session to celebrate her first-year milestone. She is just the happiest baby ever, and I saw her happiness in all her sweet smiles and facial expressions that I captured. If you know me and know the work that I do, then you know that my passion is photographing babies of all ages. From freshly born newborn babies to the babies growing throughout their first year and reach all their milestones from tummy time, sitting up, rocking, crawling and taking their first steps. The All-Inclusive Mini Milestone session is the perfect choice for parents wishing to not miss out on those precious milestone moments while keeping the session simple and a gallery of a handful of images to have as keepsakes. Avery was the perfect baby model for her mini milestone session. She loves going for walks and exploring and she loves playing with our family dog. She is a very sweet girl who I adored photographing and capturing this precious milestone of hers for mom and dad.

As a Connecticut Baby Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those precious baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up through to their first birthday. As quick as the newborn stage passes so do all the different stages of the baby milestones that first year, and it’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.

When it comes to studio outfits and setups, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby and child prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session.
