Ashton Classic Newborn Pics – Newborn Photography Windsor CT

At the end of 2024, second time parents Helene and Ben welcomed their baby, a boy they named Ashton earth side. Reserving baby’s due date and booking the Classic Newborn Session for Ashton’s posed newborn photography photos back in the spring of 2024, mom and dad and big sister Caledonia were welcomed back into the studio to capture his newborn photoshoot. Being no strangers to Melissa Hartigan Photography, I have captured several milestone sessions of big sister over the years.

As with each and every one of my clients, I love connecting with and getting to know them and Helene shared with me a little about them. As a family, they like to spend time outdoors enjoying nature. They love good food and good bakeries and often visit them to try new things. They love to travel and when they do they like to find a combination of all these things. They often take day trips to Mystic. Caledonia loves seeing the whales at the aquarium, they’re her favorite. We love spending a night or two in Portsmouth NH for a little getaway. They love making little memories along the way and have been starting some family traditions of their own. Caledonia can be shy around new people, but also really funny when she is starting to feel comfortable. She has a big imagination, makes up stories and plays by herself a little more. She loves reading and singing, and she loves helping with her new baby brother. They are all around the sweetest family.

Baby Boy Light Blue, Sage & Cream Colors Newborn Pics – Windsor CT Newborn Photography

Mama chose several coordinating and perfect colors for her baby boy’s newborn session setups. Wanting to keep with light shades of baby blue, sage green and cream colors, all of the blue and green color tones were the perfect color combination for this precious baby boy. Ashton looked so sweet and so peaceful sleeping in all the adorable setups. He is a handsome little fella and I enjoyed posing and capturing his newborn photos for his mama and dad.

Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session, and set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your newborn and baby milestone sessions.
