Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph for the beautifulness of a blooming pregnancy. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For this sweet couple from Tolland County, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood with their baby.
Victoria & Joe Studio Maternity – Maternity Photography Columbia CT
Finding Melissa Hartigan Photography and choosing me to be their maternity photographer, Victoria and Joe booked the Heirloom Maternity Session to capture these fleeting moments before they welcomed their baby together. They also booked the Cherished Newborn Session for when their baby arrived earth side. Getting to know me, and me getting to know them ahead of capturing their baby’s newborn pictures, I learned that they love to travel and have travelled to many different countries around the world, and visited a few countries on more than one occasion. Joe is easy going and likes to joke around, while Victoria is more on the serious side, but they both compliment each other well. In their downtime, they like to watch different things on TV and streaming services from nonfiction documentaries to scary movies and everything else in between. Soon their newfound love will be snuggling and loving up their baby.
Connecticut Maternity Photography
Victoria is a gorgeous mama-to-be who looked absolutely stunning in all the gowns she wore for their maternity photoshoot. Capturing several different looks, mama wore gowns that were borrowed from my extensive maternity client wardrobe that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns from Pink Blush Maternity, Nordstrom and many other maternity gown vendors, including some pretty selections from Amazon, that have been carefully selected to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mamas love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of scheduling your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.
As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones. As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages.
