As a Connecticut Baby and Children’s Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with little ones every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, which is what I specialize in, but I also love photographing little ones of all ages within their first year and beyond. Here is a peek into Elena’s sitter and one year milestone sessions.

Windsor CT Baby Photography – Elena Sitter & One Year Milestone

As beloved clients of Melissa Hartigan Photography, capturing many, many sessions over the years, Laura and Derek brought their baby girl Elena back for not only her sitter milestone session, but her one year milestone session as well. Booking the All-Inclusive Milestone Session for both celebratory milestones, we captured such precious images of Elena. And as sweet captures together big sister Madison came for a couple poses as well.

First we captured Elena’s newborn photos, then her Sitter Milestone session in November of 2020, and then she was back in the studio in March of 2021 for her One-Year Milestone. Elena is a very sweet baby girl who loves her big sister Madison. She’s a very happy, smiley baby and is so full of fun and personality – as you can see from the images showcased from her sessions. Big sister Madison loves princesses, the Wizard of OZ and Winnie the Pooh. They are such sweet girls – and they are so, so loved.

The Milestone Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a boutique baby photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions for wardrobes and other props. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s bedroom, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole baby photoshoot process that parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom baby photography session with MHP. Elena’s milestone sessions were styled from the sitter milestone wardrobe.

As a milestone photographer located in Connecticut, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as their milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby or little one ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session and custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Every session is always pre-planned to capture the most out of our time together and everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your milestone session.
