I absolutely love taking photos of expectant couples, babies and families. Baby Photography isn’t just photographing newborns; it’s also capturing babies of all ages and capturing all the special baby milestones throughout their first year after birth. Here is a little peek into Logan’s All-Inclusive One Year Baby Milestone session. This is his baby story.
Logan Baby Cake Smash – Stafford Springs Baby Photography
Sweet little Logan came to my studio for his newborn pictures when he was just a precious days old newborn fresh into the world. His sweet Grandma purchased not only his Treasures Newborn Session as a gift for mama and dad, but also his One Year All-Inclusive Milestone Session as well. I love capturing baby milestone sessions after newborn sessions, because not only do I get to capture more baby memories for parents but I also get to see just how much my littlest clients have grown throughout the year since capturing their newborn photos. It always amazes me seeing the sweet little babies I posed and photographed. Seeing Logan again for his One Year Baby Milestone and Cake Smash Session was no exception and he was such a happy baby boy, smiley, giggly and I got a glimpse of his growing personality. He was the star of the show and was ready to capture his special one-year milestone.
When it came to his cake smash, we did a very simple cake smash, keeping the focus on baby, which is how I love to photograph milestone sessions. Logan was excited when he saw his cake and once, we were ready to go he was right in there, ready to dig in and taste his sweet treat and make a fun mess. All in all, it looks like Logan really loved his cake smash, so I would call it a huge success. He has definitely grown into a curious and fun one-year old toddler. Jenna and Shawn are so lucky to have such a handsome and awesome baby boy to love.

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, I get the pleasure of meeting new families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those special baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up, their first birthday milestone and all the baby details like first baby teeth and the adorable toothy grins. As quick as the newborn stage passes, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages of the baby milestones. It’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.
