Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography. I am a Newborn photographer Connecticut with a studio in Coventry. Not only do I absolutely love taking photos but also being a part of these special moments in people’s lives. My goal is to give my clients beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent Newborn Session with the handsome Joseph Oliver.

Joseph Oliver Newborn Session

I was honored that Joseph Oliver’s parents contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography to be their Newborn Photographer Connecticut to capture this special moment in their lives. Since I custom design every session, I like to talk or meet the parents before the session. There we can discuss not only my client’s style preferences but visions they have for their photos.

Loved his hair.

Little Joseph Oliver has the most amazing hair. It is dark not to mention spiky and I was in love with it! I wanted to try out every pose with him wearing a hat and without to show off his fabulous do. 

He was such a little love and I was able to get him in some great poses. For posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page. He looks so adorable sleeping in my little metal bed while wearing the white nightshirt and cap.  Joseph Oliver also is cute in the froggy pose. Love how his lips pursed while his hands held his little cheeks. I always love to get a family photo and he made the sweetest little smile as he is snuggled by his Mom Julie and Dad Tyler.

Mom chose Navy and Gray.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe available for use during each session. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used as well as any visions or style preferences they have for the photos. I use these and custom style their newborn session to make it perfect for them.

Julie chose the colors Navy and Gray for Joseph Oliver’s Newborn Session.  I love him sleeping in the navy and white striped pants. He is also dreamy sleeping under my gray blanket while wearing a light gray knit hat. In addition, the props I hand selected worked perfectly for him. Joseph Oliver looks precious sleeping in the wooden bed with his hands behind his head. He is peacefully relaxing.
